I only have used the Sansa Clip/Fuze and not the D2, but what I can tell you is that the D2 suffers from bass rolloff on low impedance phones and the Clip/Fuze do not. There is a large amount of information here in regards to it if you want more information. -Robert

If I remember right, the CF card fits directly in the Mini without any extra adapters and such. If you want to put it in a video though, there is some type of adapter you have to purchase. I don't have a link for it, but if you search around here, you will find it! -Robert
