Anyone having severe issues with balance? The right side on mine are significantly weaker. I've verified this with multiple people and have tried changing the source. Anyone know the cause?

Mine are flat, so i'm looking to repair them since they're about $14 which seems a little expensive for padding. Any recommendations for padding material to use or anyone with similar experience, e.g. fixing up flat pads?

I think the problem is probably with my headphones, but the bass is a little bit more pleasurable than with the zero. Kind of new to this whole amp thing...

Have you tried toggling the gain switch? It seems to make a huge difference

About how much are they worth together, and how do they compare to other amps in a similar price range?

I have a zero DAC/amp, and just bought a dedicated amp. I feel like I might as well upgrade my DAC as well, and sell off my zero. I think an external soundcard/DAC would be best for me (running off a lappy). I've been looking at the emu 0404, but I'm not really sure. My price range is ~$130ish...

I have MP sextetts, I think, and removable grilles. The grilles were pretty annoying, as they hurt my outer ear over time. I'm not too keen on destroying my grilles to regrille them, so I've just removed them entirely. How bad exactly is this for my passive drivers? I haven't heard them crinkle...
