Headphone repair in Chicago
So I think I may be able to save my RE0's by recabling. If I can find a place that won't charge me an exorbitant amount it seems like it could be worth it. I would do it myself but I don't have the tools. Does anyone know of a place in Chicago that could do this for me? I'm up in...- samtheman11

Re0 fail...worth trying to repair?
I did a whole bunch of searching on this but couldn't find an answer, sooooo.... One side of my Re0s failed today. I think I've had them for around a year (purchased through DBROTH @amazon). Is it worth trying to have them recabled, or sending them back somewhere? Or should I just go...- samtheman11

re0 Replacement Filters and Foam
Hi everyone, I have two quick questions: 1) Is there a place you can buy replacement filters for re0 headphones without purchasing the bi-flanges with them? I need more filters, but I hate the bi-flanges, so if there's a way to get around buying them, that would be great... 2)...- samtheman11

Tri-flange vs. Foam Questions..
Hey all, I just got a set of Er-6is and I have two questions regarding the difference between the triple flanges and the foam tips. 1) Which will provide more isolation? 2) Which will attenuate more evenly? i.e If I were to wear while playing the drums (with the headphones not hooked up to...- samtheman11

What makes a good jazz headphone?
I'm wondering, what sound characteristics make a certain headphone (IEs to be exact) a good headphone? I'm not quite sure what strengths I should be looking for in any particular model. Thanks!- samtheman11

A2s for jazz...bass?
I think the answer is for me to get them and try it out... The 30 day guarantee makes it pretty much risk free I suppose. -
A2s for jazz...bass?
So will equalize to adjust for less bass just make them sound normal essentially? -

A2s for jazz...bass?
Hi, I'm thinking about buying a set of A2s, but I wondering: 1) Will I miss my bass? 2) Some have complained about muted highs which is definitely not a good thing for jazz....comments? Thanks so much!!! Sam- samtheman11

This is a repost: my earlier thread was in the wrong section I now realize. Hey everyone, I've been reading posts on this forum all day and I'm now ready to ask my question: I'm heading off to college, and I'm not bringing my stereo, just a laptop and speakers. Oh those A2s look pretty cool...size is something of a concern though on my incredibly petite desk in my incredibly petite room, I'll check them out though. I basically know the usual suspects, it's a question of which one will perform the best for what I need.- samtheman11
