Because the ety drivers can detach from the cord, couldn't one match a cord with a lower impedance to the 4s drivers, and have a good portable ety? (it would essentially be the 4p, i know.) Thanks! M.

Maybe I'm missing something , but if the ER4s work fine out of portable sources ( mine are the iPod/old sony D-220); that is, if there is plenty more volume than is safe, what is the purpose of the ER4p? I'm sorry in advance if this is a really stupid question. Thanks, Mike.
