i have not yet heard the xDuoo x3 and the AP100, for the money the alien gold beats alot of daps .. x3 has been very well rated so i dont think you are going wrong with either .. x3 has more file support plus display.  

updated the monk pic in the first post, sorry the one u qoute is the blur earbuds ....  yes u should get the accessories pack like ritvik said. it has ear guide's in them which help with the fit alot..

yessir it is.. better then the x3 easily and on par and with "some gear" better then x5 aswell, but keep in mind that it only plays wav and flac, no mp3.. plus no screen..  if all you care about is SQ .. then yes, to -me- its a much better player then the x3.

i dont think it will work on a ps4.. needs drivers for windows (xbox one). only works on mac without a driver. You should consider a aune b1 to drive the q701.. powered my k7xx  with ease .. dacmagic still better then most to drive the akg if u want small form factor.. but id recommend a proper...

mojo pretty much blows everything out of the water in the same price range.. id stick to that over the vorzuge and ibasso p5 and even the idsd....  might be picking up the opus #1 soon and will compare it with the aune m2 pro + shozy gold  also on order are the shozy zero, ve monk + and another...

im confused as to which would sound better for electronic music, the ref 1 too or the plus 5 .... is this the place to ask.?? can anyone try and give some info on it please. :)
