Actually there are people who prefer a DAP at home too. Not everybody likes to have an audio altar at their home.

T1.3 is described as open headphone. I remember about T1.2 they have been talking as semi open headphone. Is this just different marketing approach or a real change?

The Elear to my ears.is not a good headphone. To compete with the DT1990 you have to take at least the Clear if you want to give Focal a try.

If you like the DT1990 Analytical Pads you will probably prefer the DT1350. I stretched my DT1990 for a more relaxed fit.

Yes, there are very huge source dependent differences. Dave can sound from good to exceptional great. Sorry I can not help with PC or Mac setup. I use dedicated melco as source. Average PC with Dave is inferior to 2qute with melco. Usb cable is of importance too.

Just have the Utopia here for a few days for testing. I don't hear what they objectively speaking should do better than the DT1990. Tonally Utopia is nice but not 3D-sounding, rather flat.

What I understand it is again based on V200 layout. I expect a super V281 in a more elegant case.

I use V281 balanced with T1. Never did a real comparision. Original cable for T1.2 has a fine quality. After T1.1. had this big heavy cable. I like that it is just plug and play on the headphone side with T1.2 now. I got the balanced output at the amp. So why not use it. :)

They are not so easy to drive. I tried AK380. Forget it. I tried AK380 with Amp. Forget it. Hugo 2 is a wonderful DAC and very good amp. A really good team with T1.2. Not because T1.2 is so easy to drive but because H2 is so great.

To my ears T1.2 and Utopia are both much better than Clear or Elear.
