    The culprit was the wrong value of a capacitor was used, as stated before 10 sets were released to the end user.

    Putting out fires is pretty much routine, which is why we have boots on the ground and it is helpful I live a 2 hour plane ride away.

    Yes, unusual, but Noble wasn't founded on being usual. In fact, it could be said, functioning outside of the box put Noble on the playing table. Full Size cans is something I always thought was a pinnacle step & and here we are on the brink of it. Took 10 years, but still a big accomplishment...

    Curious to know the intended listening environment? Patio, stationary, on the go? Tables available, electrical source available etc. That information helps to narrow things down a bit.

    So are you implying the Ghengis Khan has a history of exploding when connected to a smartphone? There was never an official Khan gen 2. There was a second build design that was called gen 2 by consumers because of that reason. The design change was the implementation of a recessed socket...

    Is that a thing? I've never heard of exploding IEM's. I have read about a pair of full size cans that caught on fire on a plane once. That must of been a panic inducing moment...

    From an objective point of view, the onyx housing is CNC aluminum = will not break under normal use.
