    new tips for SF3's

My ears don't like the stock silicon tips that come with the UEs. T-500s should stay in no problem though and worth a try. I also bought these off eBay for my SF5p: 6x Replacement Earbuds for Ultimate Ears Earphones on eBay, also (end time 15-Jul-08 17:16:47 BST) I find them much better...

    Fiio amps?

I decided it would be rude not to get one at the price they are going for. First headphone amp to go with first decent set of headphones (UE Super.fi 5 Pros). Bit unsure overall. It adds bucket loads of power to the bottom end, which is what I want. But then I wonder if its spoiling the...

    Super.fi 5 Pro's to upgrade from CX300s?

Well after using them for a few weeks now I stuck in my CX300s to see how they now sounded to me. They sounded awful! Half the music seemed to be missing, and I was turning them up to try to hear parts of the music that is clear as a bell with the SF5p. So I am pleased the upgrade was worth it.

    When do you replace Complys?

Will give the cleaning a go - as I can't be doing with buying a new set of these every month! Update - warm water cleaned them up nicely and don't seem to have adversely affected the foam. I reckon I will try that weekly and see how much life I can get out of them. They obviously are not...

    When do you replace Complys?

On my first set of T-500s with SF5p and loving them. Great comfort and seal. But after a week (of pretty heavy use) they are starting to go a bit yellow at the ends. Is that my lot and I should replace them? They are not very grubby, but sitting on my desk in work are a bit embarrassing

New and Improved Ultimate Ears Super.Fi 5 v2.0 - Huge Sound in a Tiny Package.

Single driver, non replaceable cable, much lower price, no "pro" name? Can't be a replacement - more something between the 4s and the pros.

    Super.fi 5 Pro's to upgrade from CX300s?

I am loving the Comply tips with the 5 Pros. Make them even more comfortable. They give me a more perfect seal which helps with the bass and seems to give them a softer sound. For everyday use I think I am going to have to stick with the silicon tips though, and they are easier to insert and...

    Super.fi 5 Pro's to upgrade from CX300s?

Thanks DARKHAVEN and Motty. I don't think I am disappointed with them a week and a half in. A definite upgrade, I think I just needed a bit more time to listen to them and get used to the differences. I almost think I should have stopped off somewhere in between on the way to them. I might...

Super Fi 5 pro has weak bass. Anyone?

I don't like the standard UE tips. They seem very hard to me and end up working out of my ears. What fits on them: CX300 tips - a lot softer and more comfortable Sony tips that came with my SE phone - very similar to the CX300s eBay specials - for a couple of quid, these do the trick...

Super Fi 5 pro has weak bass. Anyone?

Does it not depend on what you are coming from? I would still like more bass from my 5 Pros which I have went to from CX300s - used less than a week so far so just getting used to them. Although coming from iBuds I would have thought pretty much any IEM would be able to produce more bass with...

I need some tips for the TFP 10.

I have been using medium tips from my CX300s with my super.fi 5s. My ears are well used to them anyway, but they seem a lot more comfortable than the tips that came with them. I have ordered some T-500s to try as well.

    Super.fi 5 Pro's to upgrade from CX300s?

Right, so I got my Super.fi Pros today. A bit undecided if it was money well spent so far... For comfort they are not as bad as everybody makes out. The tips that come with them are hard. Not very nice at all. The bi flange was probably the best fit for me, but hurt my ears after a few...

    Super.fi 5 Pro's to upgrade from CX300s?

I have been reading Head-fi a bit over the past few months, which I think is going to hurt my wallet I used to use cheapy earbuds, but getting a Walkman phone that came with low end IEMs converted me. For the past year and a half I have been using CX300s. I love them - comfortable, I like...
