thanks, so I usually open the dryer after the program is finished. BTW it also has UV-C light, so I think it's still useful even if the drying wasn't very effective. I'm also considering replacing some of the heating resistors with a slightly lower value to increase the temperature a bit :)

Today the button stopped reacting to one short click (turn screen on/off) but it's working fine with a long hold (power on/off). I'll just RMA it, but I'm wondering how is it possible that short click doesn't work but long hold does if this was a HW problem?

Have you ever experienced a resonance distortion, possibly when the seal not perfect? I often hear that with audiobooks, but so far I haven't noticed it with music. It's not the recording because when I rewind and listen to the spot where it ocurred again the distortion changes or disappears...

When powering a digital recorder with condenser mics using a usb cable with ferrite beads on both ends I get a 375Hz and 1000Hz noise introduced into the recording. My other cables don't do that. I also tried that with about 10 other USB adapters

I had made silicone Custom Art earplugs that don't stick out of the ear (so they are much smaller than IEMs), but they are not usable for lying on the side at all, so I'd expect much larger IEMs which definitely have to stick out of the ear to be even more uncomfortable
