TRINITY - PHANTOM Series - New thread + WORLDS FIRST PUSH PULL HYBRID IEM!*

This is my personal view on the phantom 4 I received on Thursday. I have had many IEM's in the past but only have FLC8s to compaire with att. I can't get an easy fit with the 4s, no problem with the FLC8s. Bass go deeper on the FLC8s (red, grey, blue), tried silver damped and gun metal stock...

    Changes at Livewires

They are finally here .   Can't tell much about sound yet, they seem to sound quite different than my Er-4p's. Less highs, less detail, more bass. That is all I can say right now.   Fit, left ear perfect, right ear I'm not sure yet. Right IE seems to stick out my ear a bit more then my...

If you still love Etymotic ER4, this is the thread for you...

Maybe nice to know what DAP people are using with there ER4's and what settings they use?   I'll start, using mainly my Sony X-1050. Settings are EQ at custom1 and custom1 has only clear bass set at level 2 or for bass heavy music set to 1. That's it.   *Edit* maybe nice to know that I...

If you still love Etymotic ER4, this is the thread for you...

I've written this before, my quest is over since I have my ER4's.   I've tried quite a lot of IEM's lately, TripleFi 10, DBA-02, RE-Zero to name a few. none of these satisfied me because of several reasons. Most of the reasons could be brought back to bad fit I think.   With the ER4's...

Quote: The reason I've sold them.

    Help a rookie - Triple-fi 10 vs Fischer Audio DBA 02 vs Head-Direct RE0 vs something?

Quote: The Etymotic ER-4P does not lack bass at all! It has one of the best bass in universal IEM's I have listened to so far.   I'm not the only one who is of this opinion, read this: http://www.head-fi.org/forum/thread/484569/review-fischer-audio-s-dba-02/3720#post_7258498

    Review: Fischer Audio's DBA-02

I've sold my DBA-02 in preference of the Etymotic ER-4P. My quest is now over. The reason I did is following:   Fit, after a while the DBA-02 started to hurt. There was a very small margin by inserting them that they sounded the way they should. If I moved my head the good fit was gone...

    Help a rookie - Triple-fi 10 vs Fischer Audio DBA 02 vs Head-Direct RE0 vs something?

Quote: I had them all and ended up with the Etymotic ER-4p.   Why? Due to fit problems! To me they all sounded more or less the same when I had a proper fit. Unfortunately this was not always the case. Triple-Fi 10 did not fit at all, you will loose all bass! Fisher Audio DBA-02 did...

    Changes at Livewires

Update..   it is not normal what happened to package with my impressions made and shipped on the 4th of January. This has nothing to do with Livewires, they don't even got my impressions.   As mentioned before I had them made and shipped on the 4th of January. I shipped them trackable...

    best sq for under $300

Quote: Yes, that is exactly what I meant. My apologies, I should have bin more exact with my statement. The rest is all a matter of taste and can be changed with the build in equalizer.

    Yuin PK1's

Quote: It's a bud made of silicone which fit over the headphone bud (Apple or PK1 size). These give you a perfect fit of your headphones, even while sporting they won't fall out.

What was your 1st Portable Music Player? (Please read rules)

I had a Sony cassette Walkman in 1985. I tuned it wit an external equalizer (driven by 2 AAA batteries) on stock Sony earphones. I had to travel a lot with a train those day and listened mainly to Madonna.   something like this.

    best sq for under $300

My S:Flo2 plays as loud as my Hifiman 601. I would go for the S:Flo2, the UI is not that bad and the SQ is on par with the Hifiman 601 IMO.

    REVIEW: HiFiman HM-601

My 601 handles 16 Gb Kingston class 4 cards very well.   The only complaint I have is that it creates a sort of noise, from CPU I think, for the first 10 to 15 minutes after turning it on.   Some one else have this problem?   With some FLAC playing the UI gets very slow responding!

    HiFiMAN RE0/RE-ZERO question

I have Sony Hybrids, they came with my X-1050. They work well with the Sony headphones provided with the X-1050 but for some reason not on the RE-ZERO.

    Review: Fischer Audio's DBA-02

I have the DBA-02 incoming as well. Would like to know what buds are recommended for small ear canals? I'm having troubles finding the right buds with almost all my IEMs.

    Yuin PK1's

They work great on my Hifiman 601 without an amp. The S;Flo2 can drive them pretty well aswell. Would suggest to try them once with the Yurbuds, this works very well. Gives a little bit more isolation and the fit is perfect, read always good bas

    HiFiMAN RE0/RE-ZERO question

You need to get a perfect fit with these to get any good sound from them.   I've tries a lot of different tips, triple flange, Comply foam, all supplied with the RE-ZERO but none worked for me.   To be honest, up to now I'm very disappointed with them!

    Software for Hifiman?

Why do you need software? You can drag and drop your music into the main root of your Hifiman or on the SD card you are using.   Yes, it is strange that there is no instruction manual. On the other hand the use of your Hifiman is pretty straight forward and not complicated. I had no need for...
