New Sennheiser PX-100/200 IIs
Sweet. I got rid of my PX100 because they had too much bass for my taste and stuck with my KSC75. I might give these a try and see if I will like them more since I love how they fold into the case- Tb311

Suggestion on Earbuds...
If your looking for ear "buds" then I say go with the yuin OK/PK series. If your looking for "IEM" I would look for something that wraps behind your ear so the microphonics are not that bad when your walking.- Tb311

Best Headphones/Earphones for under $25,$40,$70
+1 on the PX100. Those and the Koss KSC75 were my first decent headphones. I decided to keep the KSC75 since the PX100 had a little too much bass for me.- Tb311

Cubicle living
Living in my cube, I use a pair of yuin OK3s earbuds. They work pretty well on low volume and I can still hear conversations going on around me. Also had a pair of the Denon D1001 closed cans that worked well too. People couldn't hear my music and I could still hear people talking and they're...- Tb311

New Sennheiser HD 448.
Just saw that senn released their new low cost HD 4x8 series and I was wondering if anyone has tried them? I have my HD650 but I kinda wanted to try a closed headphone and these look pretty decent for $100.- Tb311

Most Comfortable Headphones?
So far from the headphones that I have owned I find that the HD650 is the most comfy and I have worn them for 4+ hrs straight with no problems. I didn't like the denons because the leather pads made me sweat after about an hr or two of listening and the K702 were nice but the bumps got to me...- Tb311

I just got my new cable and the main difference is they changed it from a 90 degree mini plug to a straight. Also the Y-split is now a black cylinder. I have one for sale and a pic if your interested check my sig- Tb311

DC power cables
Well the length of the splitter will only be about a foot. I also took a look at the current cable and its 20awg and there are only 3 conductors, red, black, and white. I don't see any shielding at all, just the black jacket. I have some left over canare and I was thinking about using that since...- Tb311

DC power cables
I am planning on making a Y-splitter for one of the headroom power supplies and I was wondering if there are any special braids or insulation needed for regular DC power cables. I know there are some for AC power cables but are there any specific DC specs or can I use just a regular 3 wire...- Tb311

micro DAC won't power up
Yes its the right power supply, and I would assume the voltage is ok since I used both power supplies on the amp and it works. I have a multimeter and I can test out the power supply voltage. Does anyone know the pin out for the plug? I'll also give HR a call.- Tb311

micro DAC won't power up
So I recently bought a second hand 09 microstack and the DAC will not turn on. When I first plug the power supply and initialy go to turn it on I can see the light turn on for a half sec then back off. When I have it connected to the amp I can hear a "thump" when I turn the DAC on and off also...- Tb311

HD650 and SR225i amp considerations
Are there going to be any problems with the difference in the impedance with the HD650 and SR225 with the Darkvoice. Also the darkvoice would be my first tube amp, are there any special rules in taking care of a tube amp and will I need to change the tubes the darkvoice comes with to make it...- Tb311

HD650 and SR225i amp considerations
Ok so I finally got my HD650 and SR225i headphones and now I want to get a good amp that fits both of them well. I like the HD650 silky smoothness and the SR225i in your face sound and I would like an amp that works well with both of their characteristics if possible. Right now I currently have...- Tb311

I would also recommend the D2000 and get an amp/dac later. but if you wanted an amp/dac I would get the AH-D1001k for around $100-150 and the rest for amp/dac- Tb311

headphone recommendation, not in ear.
I think the Yuin PK and OK lines are the best way to go if you an earbud type headphone. The D1001 is nice but I don't think it will work well in gym getting all that sweat on the leather like ear pads on a closed headphone.- Tb311
