Thank you, YPok, for your advice. Seems like there are a lot jobs to be done to get the full potential of the D2000 out. Hope to hear someone who has done a step by step comparison of what is the difference from each remod job. Though surely everyone has own taste of the difference if any.

At this point I have no plan to recable or replace pads of it yet, I think it's a little overated that cable/pads replacementcan improve the sound signature much. Unless the improvement is over 5% of total performance, otherwise I would regard it as unnecessary.

I forgot where but I was suggested the iaudio 7 instead of D2 if I have no specific need for video plays, I had a creative zen before and I really did not like converting video files time after time. just to make it play on the tiny screen. Anyway, D2 is overall functionally better than iaudio...

Finally I ordered iaudio 7, instead of D2, many say the 7 has better sound quality than D2. Actually I ordered two sets of iaudio 7, one for me and one for my girlfriend.

I guess K702 will be black version of K701? Many hate toilet white.
