Would the ATH-A700 be best for me?
I can't really comment because i never tried them long enough but, A900 is used by many in professional gaming. So i suppose it's really good for gaming/movie use. Anyway, good luck for your purchase! enjoy friend- outbreak123

hd25-1 impressions thread
I love HD25-1, they're so energic w/ rock music and pretty much portable too. Isolation is great, and doesn't look bad at all. One of the best 180$ i ever spent esp for main portable cans.- outbreak123

headphones for 250$, hd595? help
I have a HD515 and i don't recommend it at all, not worth 60$. i rather have a PX100.. Check HD25-1 II, it's a DJ headphone. They don't need an amp, the have punchy and tight bass. They blocks external noise really good.- outbreak123

headphones for 250$, hd595? help
Yes yes i know, i love to listen to trance/house with my HD25-1. Well i'm just recommending you with my experience with HD595, HD25-1, HFI-780. I find the HFI-780 is the most enjoyable for music like Van dyk, van buuren, etc. but they also sounds good with everything. Well it could be better...- outbreak123

headphones for 250$, hd595? help
Ugly? smalls? Ugly maybe not too much, and it's not that small either. But they do sounds much better than HD595 for Trance/Rock IMO. Sennheiser HD595 is good for classical but too laid back and not involving at all, and a bit bass shy for Trance music. Of course you don't have to believe...- outbreak123

HD25-1 II vs HFI780
Yes, HD25-1 isolates really good and i find that using them for more than 2 hours hurts my ear for some minutes, but after that i use them again. I believe that they are robust and more portable than HFI780, but i supposed that HFI780 sounds better. Me think HD25-1 sounds really nice too for...- outbreak123

HD25-1 II vs HFI780
If you want portabilty and DJ use, HD25-1 II. For pure SQ and such i think 780 winds down.- outbreak123

The best bang for the the buck IEM's at 150$?
Denon C700.. and wait, you have an amp. So Er4s should be great. Btw. i try to explain what dranoel4190 said. CX300 is really bassy and muddy with weak mids and highs, while ER4p/s sounds really good on the mids/highs, bass in quantity is much less than CX300, but much more tight and...- outbreak123

Good & Rugged Headphone suggestion?
I don't know any earbuds/IEM that can stand much abuse, but IMO Sennheiser HD25-1 II is definately one of the most robust headphone available and you can change most of the parts if they are broken.- outbreak123

OMG .. ive been tricked.
Yes, never rip your song less than 192 kbps. IMHO 192 kbps is the minimum of a song to sound "great".- outbreak123

How Do You Carry Your Rig?
Put the DAP in the pocket because i don't use an amp. but right now i'm using a HD25 which is quite big, i only use it when i carry a bag/backpack. I put it on the neck or put it on the bag when i'm not using it. maybe will get an IEM some time later for true portability.- outbreak123
