Is Canare Star Quad still considered good cable? It's been a while since I've recabled some phones, and I'm looking to recable my ATH-ESW9s. I just ordered a ViaBlue T6s 1/8" Jack and a SC2 splitter. I've got some left over StarQuad L46ES that I'm gonna use.

Would it better to purchase this or the Little Dot I+ for my Grado 325is?

They're extremely solid amps. As far as why they're so inexpensive, I couldn't answer that myself.

Have you opened the unit or at least had anyway of taking a look at the internals? If I had any HQ shots of the internals, I could take a look for you.

Also gotta add the Liberators increased the comfort by BOUNDS. It's like night and day. Also, I found that washing the pads with shampoo (I used Axe Body Wash actually) got rid of the smell real quick. Soap didn't work for me.

Just got my liberators in today, and installed them on my 225s. Man....I didn't think it could get any better. In all honesty, I didn't use my 225s for about a month after I got them. I'm glad I've started using them again. Now I'm just waiting on my new Neutrik plugs to replace this...

Just got done recabling my 225s. Used Canare L-4E6S Cable, with some Canare Quad Solder. Also used a radiohack plug for now, until I order a nice Neutrik or Vampire plug. I can tell these plugs suck, because it feels like the left ear is a bit louder, but it could just be my imagination.

Little Dot I+ with the right tubes and an upgraded opamp goes quite well with my 225s. I'd highly recommend it

One other update. I received my StarQuad Interconnects, OPA2107AP opamps, and my Mullard M8161 Large Shield Tubes (Rival, if not better than the fabled Sylvania 408As) the other day. I'm in love all over again, and the tubes/opamp aren't even fully broken in.
