Focal Listen Impressions and Review
Anyone compared the Listen to the Classic? I was inclined to buy the Classic but now I'm intrigued by these Listen... And the Listen should be way more efficient too.- robotz

New iBasso Portable Amp/DAC: iBasso D14 "Bushmaster"
Specs say 400 +400 mW, thus the D14 should be considered rated at 400 mW or 800 mW? What's the max output voltage?- robotz

Audio-GD NFB-15.32 Delivery & Impression Thread
The NFB-15 is far superior to the O2-Odac from every point of view: full transistors discrete analogue stage design VS. opamps design; high quality integrated power supply VS. cheap wall adapter power supply; dual WM8741 Wolfson flagship Dac chips VS. single not-flagship ES9023 Sabre...- robotz

Best usb powered DAC Amp with gain 10 or customizable gain?
My price range is around 300$ The SoundMagic HP100 are 32 ohm but are still inefficient for classical. I looked at the Fostex HP-A3, but no mention about the gain. The Maverick is not usb powered. Regarding the Fiio Andes it says 12 dB gain that correspond to a gain of 4: 20*log4=12 dB...- robotz

Best usb powered DAC Amp with gain 10 or customizable gain?
SoundMagic HP100 (see my avatar). They are not very efficient, and more I listen only classical music that, due to its dynamics, is generally low registered. So standard audio gear is insufficient to pump up the volume to satisfactory levels.- robotz

Best usb powered DAC Amp with gain 10 or customizable gain?
I'm looking for a small top quality usb powered dac + headphones amp with gain at least 10 or customizable when ordering the gear. This is to give food to my hungry headphones. Odac combo would have been a good choice if it had usb powering. I hate dealing with adapters. Any idea?- robotz

Audio-GD NFB-11.32 & NFB-11 (2014) (Delivery & Impression Thread)!!!
Just to clarify and correct what Warrax says, my nfb-11.32 with firmware No.3 and driver 1.1 works perfectly in windows 7 at 16/24/32 bit and 44 - 192 Khz, and yes, 32 bits can be selected from the driver control panel and appear in windows 7 audio control panel also. I tested it both with...- robotz

Indigo dj vs. iBasso or Pico USB Dac/Amps
I'm thinking to try something different from my Indigo dj (line out), that I'm very satisfied nevertheless. So I'm wondering if an iBasso dac or a Pico dac would be in the same (very high indeed) league. Also with one of these I'd save the cable connecting the indigo with the amp, so I'm...- robotz

DT 770: 250 or 80 ohm version?
I'm planning to buy the dt 770 for Bach's organ music, for the great deep bass response it requires. I already own the HD600 but I'm not very satisfied with its not so very strong deep bass. So I'm wondering if anyone compared the two versions. I'm oriented on 80 ohm, because the 250 ohm...- robotz
