My 2006 Beyer DT770 32 is still alive and loved by a mate of mine, and I daily use my MX330 600Ohm again because my 3rd Audeze Mobius broke at exactly the same place yet again. Moderately happy in combination with RedScape.

Just received the HEL2E. Amazing little thing, though a tad expensive ( Am in EU and had to import from USA ). At this time it drives a Gen 1 Beyer MMX300 600Ohm. Sounds about as good as the G6 I had before w/o all the hassle. Just plug and play! Love it!

Have played it on Index. Alas, I have a strong screendoor effect on that headset: I have pretty good eyes. Sold the Index last year because of that. Be sure I'll replay it when I'll eventually buy the new Valve high end headset! Hopefully by then we have a new HL VR game.

People need to understand that most recording studio's and certainly gaming studio's don't use high-end home use gear and cables. They use professional high end gear, with different goals and design characteristics. I fail to understand how Tubes and these high end cables can 'reveal' details...
