Well the HD 700 is 150 ohms which does classify as high impedance. From the reviews I have read the lyr, wa3 and crack all pair with the HD 700 extremely well and help tame some of the headphones known treble peaks. Its just tough trying to decide. I think the crack has the best price to...

So do you think the wa3 will outlast a bottlehead crack? Is the extra price justified in your opinion?

You can power the HD 700 directly from your phone? How is the sound in comparison to being amped? Hmmm what a line up. Have you tried the headphones with any other amps besides the wa3?

I'm hearing a lot about how great the bottlehead crack is with sennheisers. How does it compare to the woo audio?

yes the hd700 are 150 ohms. I think I would rather go with the warmer sound because of the reported treble issues with the HD 700. Also what's the difference between an OTL amp and a regular amp? I know the WA3 is OTL while the WA6 is not.

Because I'm getting a great deal on the HD 700 that I can't get on the HD 800. Plus I want to get the black sheep of the Sennheiser line. The middle child so to speak.

I have settled on the signature pro. I love the portability. But due to being pulled over yesterday and getting an expensive ticket these will have to wait. Funny how life works like that.

I know this is pretty vain but the Signature DJ look ugly to me. I much prefer the style of the Signature Pro. I'm pretty much set on the SP. I want to A/B the SP with the LCD-2 and pick the winner

I'm really leaning heavily towards the Signature Pros. The LCD-2's size is definitely putting me off from them. I like that the SP are portable and isolate well.. I also believe they will pair better with my current setup vs. The others.

I had the dt770 back in my early audiophile days. From reviews the T1 is like a better DT990/880. So these in essense would have soundstage and bass. Ugh I'm so confused. I wish I could try all 3. Is the soundstage bad with the LCD-2 or Sig Pro?
