Balanced users would want an amp which uses real balanced inputs I would say. Audiophile is the name of the game, not compromise. Now to find a portable source with balanced outputs before getting all excited.

Just received my Pico DAC and all I have to say, absolutely brilliant. The filter for the USB works wonderfully! No more annoying noises from the USB!

I don't hear a difference at all. That's why I've converted all my FLAC to ALAC. So I can get a Mac, shove it in iTunes and use my Touch as a remote.
