    They block out about 10db less than the shures, but they don't go in your ear as far. The cord is fine. It has an extender and the cords are removable at any time.

    It doesn't mean that they can't be opened. Just make sure everything is tip top. Also, get the UE 5 Pro. In my opinion, they crush the 210 and 310.

    My SE530 broke, I personally delivered them to Shure, and the next morning I had a brand new pair on my doorstep by 10:30! FYI - if you live in the chicagoland area do not send them by mail. By bringing them in yourself, Shure told me that they could get you any model (other than the SE530)...

    Just get the SE530. Look around online and you can find them for under $350 USD. They are easily the best sound from Shure.
