This is cool. I'm posting from my psp. I couldn't wait, so I installed the Japanese version. The only complaint I have is the text entry sucks.

I used an MX700 since they first came out, and was really happy with it. However, the MX1000 came out, and it was too cool to pass up. I don't think I could go back to the 700 now.

I don't see what people are complaning about. So there are linked ads, big deal. Anything that helps ensure Head-Fi stays around can only be a good thing. Bandwidth isn't free, and this site uses quite a bit, I'm sure.

Believe it or not, I have seen a truck float. However it was a (relatively) light Ford Ranger with 38" tires. It didn't float like a raft, but it was just buoyant enough for two or three of the tires to lift off the bottom.

I suggest getting a Carfax report. It costs $20, but if it saves you from buying a piece of junk it is worth it.

In my opinion you should be learning everything in the class, not just what is on the exam. It is your fault for not being prepared. Sure the TA may have made a mistake (or just been a jerk), but ultimately it is your responsibility to learn the material.

I haven't heard the E3, but I preferred the E4 to the E5 when I had the chance to listen to both at the recent impromptu Detroit mini-meet. They are very resolving, and the bass just seemed cleaner with the E4.
