    Fostex x Massdrop TH-X00 Review

Glorious!   I wish I had more places to mention this one but I've already done it and the only other places that care already know.

    Fostex x Massdrop TH-X00 Review

Will the drop end early if people hurry up and buy all the available units?   Because I really want people to buy the rest and for the drop to end early.

    Fostex x Massdrop TH-X00 Review

2000 will probably be plenty but I still want to get in ASAP. I dunno. I'm weird that way.

    Fostex x Massdrop TH-X00 Review

Yeah I've wanted a pair of Fostex's for a long while now but just haven't been able to bring myself to pay for them.   This'll do it. Will be staring at the drop page for these Friday morning at like 8:50 hitting refresh until I can order.

Grace Design x Massdrop m9XX DAC/Amp Review: First Impressions

For what it's worth, the M9xx works just fine running off my Nexus 6 with a plain old OTG cable.   Powered the M9xx with the mobile battery pack that came with the phone in the Project-Fi package. It's a pretty nice fairly mobile little setup.

    Schiit Owners Unite

I always turned my amp off when I was using a tube amp, but at least for now my Bifrost/Asgard 2 stack stays on all the time. That will probably change in the summer. I start turning everything off when I'm not going to be home no matter what because I don't have air conditioning :|

That would work but it would cut my speakers out of the loop. I switch back and forth too often for that to be practical.

    Schiit Owners Unite

I'm in the situation you're describing right now. I've got a Little Dot MKIII that I bought a long time ago to go with a pair of DT990 600's and some other random cans. Then most recently I picked up some HiFiman HE-400's and the pairing isn't so hot. I also have a Maverick Audio Tubemagic D1...

Little Dot MKIII used as preamp with GREAT results!

Quote: Yeah, I originally wanted to just buy a nice quality stereo receiver and do some passive bookshelf speakers, but I just don't have the space for it. My computer desk is crammed into this tiny little walk in closet type space and there's just no room left in here.

Little Dot MKIII used as preamp with GREAT results!

Resurrecting this because I was about to post the same thing. Then I decided to search and see if anyone else had already said it. Sure enough, here we are.   I have the Little Dot running out to my 2.1 setup (modest, but it's what I can afford!), which is out from the preamp outs on the...

Budget Subwoofer to pair with M-audio AV 40s

I paired a Dayton Sub-100 with my BX5a's and have been really happy. It took me a day or so to get the crossover and volume set just right and balanced with my speakers, but since then it's been great.

So...I want to ditch the Logitech X-530..

The simplest way is with a cable like this one: http://www.amazon.com/HOSA-CMP159-Stereo-Phone-Y-Cable/dp/B000068O3C/ref=pd_bxgy_e_text_b   It's not the optimal way of doing it, but it will work until you can get a new soundcard/DAC. Even hooked up that way it'll still be significantly...

    What is your Computer Case

Quote: Good eye! Videocard was a GTX285. That's since been replaced by two GTX 460's in SLI. The case does make it all look small. A lot of people are using all that extra space to do crazy stuff with watercooling, but I don't think I'll ever go that far. I'll just enjoy all that...

2.0 Speakers Compilation: Best for <$500

I went through a bit of a quest for a 2.1 setup for my computer recently and came to similar conclusions, though I didn't get to test any KRK or Swan stuff. I found a place that had KRK's monitors but couldn't test them, and nobody local carries Swan. But Audioengine and the others were...

    Disappointed gamer

I went through this same thing and ended up with the Astro MixAmp. I mostly use it to get Dolby Headphone out of the Xbox I keep at my desk, but it did turn out to be useful for splitting audio across a few different things. For instance, despite the somewhat weak sound quality on the A40...

    What is your Computer Case

I bought the Corsair 800D for my latest build.     And the old build in it. I've since changed PSU's, and Videocards.
