Thanks for your thoughts. I just felt like in that moment all of the little colorations of everything that went into that moment of listening complimented each other in exactly the right way for me. It was the exact, ideal sound I had been searching for all this time.

I was actually considering a higher-end pair of Audiotechnicas eventually, because these A900s have been fantastic. However, I think the next Grado step comes first, which is beginning to look more like a mod of my 225s, and less like a new pair of cans.
