I don't think the 2 compare, just so hard to compare fullsize to IEM. Having said that, I do hear some similarities.

Agree, Servo mode is much better than Class A. I felt like there was too much warmth, and possibly lack of details and dynamics with Class A. I was actually disappointed with Zahl until I listened again with Servo mode which I thought was excellent.

Not sure what clinical edge means but if you’re ever experiencing anything to sound shouty or harsh on the Susvara, it’s probably an underpowered amp or your DAC.

I can see both your points. The HD 800S hits deep and low, this is true. Whatever bass is meant to be there will be represented. However, what is lacking is the quantity of bass and bass emphasis in its tuning. Compared to other headphones it’s definitely less quantity than most.

I have the edition as well, but XLR balanced version. Try it with a WA33 and you’ll achieve even more dynamics, energy, and bass. I owned the Bliss also, it’s tuned like the May.
