Hi. I posted this somwhere else before. You should try the tips from The Koss Plug earphones. For me they work better than Shure olives and anything else I tried until now. And they are really cheap! I bougt a pack with 3 pairs for 15 USD

And I do not think you will need an amp. The D2 has lots of power.

Well, I think the D2 sounds linear when you mean good instrument sepapration and clarity. The EQ is very responsive to the Triple Fi. I do not know the Sony players. But I have the Sony W810i telephone and it sounds too boomy (I do not know if this is a reference...).

I am not going to tell you what the best solution is. I have not heard the se530 yet. But I can recommend you the Triple Fi. The fit is good (but I am going to order the Shure Black olive foams as they should be even better) and the sound is amazing. They sound good with all my music.

Well, I do not know like the Sony sound. I have never heard them. I think the D2 can handle your kind of music. What headphones do you use?

Hi Folks, for all the audiophiles in Ireland: you can buy UE Triple Fi 10 earphones in the Pixels shop. They do not have them at the shop directly, but after you order them there, they will deliver them for free. The price is 279 Eur (I think this is a good price). This is a good option...

I am usin UE Super Fi 3 and I will upgrade to Triple fi next month. I am not familliar with the K601 but I can assure you that the D2 has a lot of power.

Well I succeeded. I listened to both pieces 3 times with my UE super fi 3 on my lousy Dell computer at work and the difference was obvious to me. I am using now mp3's at 320 (or FLAC) for some time only as lower rates do not satisfy mi listening needs.

And you should really try the Shure Black Olive Foams. The seal will become uncompareable better.
