I work as a tech writer for a company that makes a very small, high speed thermal printer for mailing, packaging, and other applications. The only PROBLEM with that is I am in school for Public Affairs, specifically focusing on modern politics and ethics... So yeah, I have lots of work...

I use the Shure SE 310, and I will say it is wonderful IMHO. They also have the benefit of being able to be used ear wrapped OR directly into the ear- I use them like that at work, when I know that somebody may tap me on the shoulder (no money for the push to hear yet)... So, consider...

Here is my humble rig- for ultra portable, replace the Beyer's with SE 310's and the 4th Gen ipod with a nano.

360 has more games, sure. And is has some pretty damn good ones. It's been out longer. (I have a 360 and a Wii, for the record) The Wii has been in need for some more games lately, but they are coming... however, what makes graphics childish? Just because the Wii is 250$ instead of 300 or 400...

iems are something of an aquired taste, depending. I also think some of this depends on how it sits in each persons ear, and the individual biology of a person may effect it- I don't know.

I don't know, these seem to get very mixed reviews. As long as I have them seated well, I am getting very good sound quality (though I have had to mess with some EQ to make the bass feel right) Other than that, though, I have found the highs and mids rather enjoyable for the pricerange. I dunno.

Sorry, but the end all is going to be what you want to do. I personally am getting a phd (in my field) because I prefer to research and teach than go out into the world and do this. Try both sides when you can, and see what feels the best- do what you WANT to do. And remember you can...
