I think he is talking about 20gb, or one of the standard large iPod sizes. As a mini user myself, I wouldn't recommend it for travelling - though its small, 5gb just isn't enough So these players just appear as hard-drives to Windows?

A friend of mine has asked me to find out about ipod-like players that don't require custom software (eg iTunes) to be installed in order to add songs to the device.
