Touch 2.0 Line Out changes?
I've got a Pocket Dock but I'm not getting anything out of it. Anyone use a line out with the new touch yet? Edit: I'm wondering if it might have the same connector as the iphone as opposed to the original touch because of the speaker and my LOD doesn't support the iPhone...- millercv

The Aristocats
Some excellent songs in Aristocats for sure, but being a mega Disney geek it's my duty to point out - it isn't Louis Armstrong, but Scatman Crothers. The part was written for Louis (who incidentally has a few other Disney connections such as appearing on the Disneyland tv show "Disneyland... -
Jane Monheit - OMG!
I could listen to her version of Waters of March on repeat for the rest of my life - check out her concert DVD as well. Good stuff. -
Anyone pick up the new Tori Amos album?
Yeah - not her best, or even her middling. Some songs stand out as classics but not too much to get excited about. -
Is it possible to add a line out to a CMOY?
ok I may be over thinking this but just wanted some help. I've decided to gut my "learning" (read messy) CMOY and move it to a box with multiple switched sources and DC power. I was thinking it would be nice to have a line out also - for recording stuff to MD etc. Is this as simple as just...- millercv

CMOY Done but a few questions
It is interesting stuff - It has some sort of varnish (or something) on it that you have to burn off with a very hot soldering iron. This is my first headphone amp and I must say so far many CDs sound amazing (like Bjork's Vesprertine which I'm listening to at the moment) but several that I...- millercv

CMOY Done but a few questions
Actually I do have several of them touching routed underneath the board and I haven't heard any interference so far (including several shake tests). You really do have to fight to get the ends stripped with that stuff. I believe they have some data up about out it at bottlehead.com.- millercv

CMOY Done but a few questions
They are just in with the regular Altoids - there are three "special edition" tins out now. I've seen them at target and several other places. They have pictures of them all on their website - maybe altoids.com ?- millercv

CMOY Done but a few questions
Actually its magnet wire the kind you have to strip it w/ a soldering iron. I got used to the stuff when I built a Bottlehead Preamp that uses it. The plain old insulated wire I had was a bit thick and not cooperating in the tiny space so I switched after hooking up a couple of things.- millercv

What music makes your hair stand up?
One thing that never fails to do this is the soundtract to Epcot's current fireworks spectactular- Illuminations: Reflections of Earth. ABC used part of it as their Millennium theme a few years back. Cheesy yes but it never fails to get the goosebumps going -
CMOY Done but a few questions

CMOY Done but a few questions
Ok it isn't working as fine as I thought it was I brought it into work to play around w/ a bit and while looking at it the pin 1 from the pot came disconnected (L.in I believe but don't have the schematic in front of me) but sound was coming from both sides so apparently I have a short...- millercv

CMOY Done but a few questions
Ok my "learning" cmoy is done. Got very little sleep last night and there was much weeping and gnashing of teeth. But I got everything working - I think. One of the problems I had was wire up the pot (its one of the 6 pin panasonics). I just couldn't figure out the grounds I ended up putting...- millercv

Building a CMOY any hints? and Hi!
Ok first off Hi this is my first post - though I've been lurking for a while. I've finally gotten up the gumption to try and build the CMOY headphone amp (actually I went ahead and bought parts to build three - one to learn on, one actual and one potentially for a friend if I don't fry any of...- millercv
