The FitEar CIEM Impressions Thread
You can try the Dragonfly dacs (black / red). I am using the black with my iphone and ATH IM70, running Spotify. Got this in anticipation of receiving my MH334...*chants*...please come soon... To me, it lifts the vocals and gives the bass more impact.- TaZ82

IE8's My somewhat Perplexed First Impressions
In the IE8's defense, the dynamic drivers do require sometime to loosen up aka burn in. If it does not impress you still, then I guess the senn sound sig is not to your taste?- TaZ82

speaker recommendation for wide range of music
My bad, did not see the OP's budget. I suggested the Dyns because the KRK, Alesis and Adam were also mentioned. I think the Audioengine A5 or nEar04 should be within your budget.- TaZ82

speaker recommendation for wide range of music
Do give Dynaudio a go too -
decent speakers for a laptop setup?
I too recommend the Audioengine A5, however you can also give the nEar 04 a go. Both of them are active speakers, so setting them up is a breeze.- TaZ82

Should i get a Lisa III?
I switch in between the 71A and Lisa III depending on my mood and music preference. The Blackbird is very relaxing imo, jazz and vocals are smooth and it is my choice of amp to chill out. The Lisa III is more forward and with adjustable bass, I use it when I want to have fun.- TaZ82

Low cost amp for D2000/HD600?
I have only tried the D2000 with the GS Voyager however just for a brief moment. The bass was plentiful with pretty good impact. I could not remember the detailing and soundstage.... But overall it was good. My test tracks were Apologize by One Republic and Accidd by Jem, both tracks have a...- TaZ82

Available - RSA "The Black Bird" SR-71A, Redesigned, Resized AMP images page 1,28, 33, 34, 39 . Mini review: 40, 41, 45 .
I paired it with the atrios. Soundstage is pretty good with hard hitting bass. If I am listening to jazz or vocals, triple fi is the one I will use. Atrios for pop, hip hop, etc- TaZ82

Amp that beefs up not only sound level but also bass, treble and midrange?
If I remembered correctly, the C&C Box+ has controls for low, mid and high frequencies. More like a boost for those frequencies. The Go-Vibe Magnum has a switch to adjust the gain (low, med and high) plus a variable bass "wheel". I currently own a Graham Slee Voyager and with the...- TaZ82

What amp for ATH-ESW9??
I just got the voyager and it seems to pair well with my ESW9. It maybe be because of the type of music I listen to, I felt my ESW9's were a little bass shy when used with a Corda XXS.- TaZ82

Portable amp without dac for ESW9
I am contemplating getting a Meier 2Move. Has anyone compared the 2Move to the minibox e+? Currently wondering whether does it have the same synergy with the ESW9 as did the minibox. The iQube is pretty much out of reach at the moment for me and I do not think my music library is great enough...- TaZ82
