My ears are bLeedINg!!!
In the middle of PC gaming. My headphones will scream, screech, artifact extremely loudly for no reason. I end up having to rip the headphones off my head so that I don't get hearing damage. Its extremely loud all of the sudden. Seems like something is failing badly. This does not happen when I...- Maximus Pain

Massdrop HD 6xx: Too much PUNCH and SLAM!
Hey, no synergy?....your headphones sound like crap?......no problem. Just EQ the ever living shyte out of them until you reach audio nirvana........... This seems to be the general consensus. Just in case you didn't know. EQ can also be used as a last resort or not at all with the right...- Maximus Pain

Massdrop HD 6xx: Too much PUNCH and SLAM!
That's actually the first thing I tried. Lowered the volume and listened at lower levels until my ears got use to it but still. I may be on the "hate it" side. I do have to try the stock pads again. Having a hard time finding them.- Maximus Pain

Two AMPS on DAC ?
I have two AMPS and want to connect them to a single DAC. How can I connect two AMPS to a DAC if the DAC only has one pair of RCA outputs and one pair of XLR outputs? Would a good RCA Splitter cable give me any feedback or distortion issues? Or.... would it be better to use the second set...- Maximus Pain

Which DAC is being utilized
Please excuse my ignorance. I'm a little confused and need some help. In the following audio chain, which DAC is being utilized? PC > Bifrost > Jotunheim > Klipsch R-15PM Is it the Bifrost or the powered speakers internal DAC? Thanks- Maximus Pain

Why a DAC?
This maybe a bit late, since I already own a Schiit Bifrost 2. But still, I don't understand how a high end digital to analog converter is required to maximize the listening experience since my PC or phone already have a built in DAC. Call me stupid.... STUPID! Good, got that out of the way...- Maximus Pain
