Can anyone tell me if it is possible to feed the dx160 with audio using toslink/spdif when it‘s set to DAC mode? Or does it only work with usb? What I want to achieve is: iOS -> Airplay -> Airport Express -> toslink -> DX160 in DAC mode -> RCA -> Amp thanks!

recently I‘ve been having the issue that the device gets unresponsive after a few taps on the touchscreen. I have to turn off the screen and turn it on again to fix it. Anybody else encountering this?

Tidal is completely useless garbage atm. No matter if using lurkers or stock.

I‘m not sure. as said previously I‘ve deinstalled tidal and reinstalled it again and now it‘s responsive as it should be. However I‘m still far from having my library downloaded completely again. Maybe it has to do with offline storage? i will report back when the downloads have finished!

No idea, but I guess the app is more memory intensive than it could be.

Tidal was a complete catastrophy for me the last weeks. It would constantly freeze or crash. No I‘m de- and reinstalling it, which also means redownloading 500 albums... it‘s a pita. apple music and generally all other apps work pretty much flawlessly.

Calm the f down. Noone forces you to use this device and it seems like 95% of all people here don‘t experience this problem (flawed bootup) except when using a faulty sd card. I had the exact same problem you described when I used a fake sd card. That‘s why I hinted that.

This sounds like you need a proper sd card. Mine behaved the same until I bought a legit sandisc extreme.

I tried to get the battery of my SE215 Bluetooth adapter which I bought off ebay repaired few months ago snd they didn‘t want to accept it as long as I wouldn‘t provide an original receipt or the serial number. (Which i didn‘t have because the original packaging wasn‘t provided...

Were they sealed? Just a guess, but maybe someone bought em, replaced the iems by fake ones off aliexpress and sent em back amazon. That way they would have got originals for 60$..

Tbh, I don‘t think there’s much that they could improve by firmware updates. What would you expect? most issues some users experience are design-specific and won‘t be affected by fw updates

I‘ve experienced the exact same issue on the first day or so. Will try if this still happens... I religiously check volume levels and press play before putting the iems in, because I had it at 80 Line-Out and switched to 30 Phone-Out. Ouch for half a second

Hi guys! As a kinda audiophile noob I was wondering what the difference between the LO and PO mode in the DX160 is? I mean Line Out and Phones Out is obvious, but they kinda sound the same except that the PO is slightly higher in volume. Is there any disadvantage in using the one over the other?
