Still in the midst of searching but me I have a ipod 5G video it seems most are putting this on because the EQ sounds better? I don't listen to my ipod with any EQ so does this really matter for me or not?

I brought these earphones for my ipod it's my first time with a earphone but right now with the EQ off I was hoping for a little bit more bass.. If I adjust them more it sounds a little bit better but the highs are so over powering with no mids?

I'm looking for some IEM's for my 5G ipod after thinking about the Ultimate Ear's Super fi 5's I just don't like the look on how they stick out of the ears like that.. So I was thinking about the Etymotic ER6i how does fit well?
