TGXEAR discussion thread.
Just my two cents/pence on this because it might help someone. I spent a good while running the Alpha via OTL and infact the shear power managed to improve treble and air, effectively brightening it's tonality. Tubes can be rolled to achieve a 'brighter' picture and the power that some OTLs...- ian91

NEW Brise Audio FUGAKU - The world's first Ultimate Portable Audio System
If it's less than $5k, I'll be surprised. It looks expensive and the cable appears similar to one that retails for $3.5k alone.- ian91

HISENIOR AUDIO Discussion Thread
Try to add some reason to this situation...the reputation your referring to is one glowing review with some stupendously strong claims and several other flattering reviews, one from a friend I very much respect... Don't be taken in by the hype, keep your expectations reasonable for the price...- ian91

FitEar TO GO! & Universal Series --- Suyama's custom IEM, made universal!
It's an excellent set, best BA set I've heard for my music library. How do you like the Aya? Is it a Chinese Aya?- ian91

FitEar TO GO! & Universal Series --- Suyama's custom IEM, made universal!
What do you find appealing about the IMarge and what sort of music are you enjoying it with? I bet it sounds very different to the 335HT! What I really like about my TG333 is the midbass and low midrange tuning. It's full and utilises the BAs really well while still retaining textures. If the...- ian91

FitEar TO GO! & Universal Series --- Suyama's custom IEM, made universal!
TG333 has a full lower midrange that I don't perceive as 'bloating' but I do know some people prefer a flatter lower midrange. I just perceive it as slightly warm (not neutral) and naturally organic. Thanks to the good upper midrange and treble presence there is no lack of detail within that...- ian91

The discovery thread!
TG333 is probably my definition of 'warm-neutral'. The midrange is organic with low midrange emphasis, yet it remains detailed with very little sense of veiling. It has a vocal focus with very good clarity while not being overly sharp in the treble. It's a great set for classical, folk, acoustic...- ian91

I found PAC quite underwhelming. Warm, slighty boxy midrange with a tight soundstage for an earbud. I haven't listened to them in a while though...- ian91

Yes, no issues with hip hop (or pop). It has good male vocal clarity and a strong bass shelf with plenty of impact and rumble.- ian91

Review by 'ian91' on item 'Canpur CP32E'

Earbuds Round-Up
As Fran's buds have come up in the thread again, I thought I may as well share my most recent matchup. FranQL Caelum /w Clan Audio 'Caelum' SPC cable. Caelum is a very exciting earbud and Clan Audio managed to match it up with an equally exciting looking (and sounding) cable.- ian91
