    Pads for V-Moda Crossfade M-80

Well they're like brand new which is nice. They're a little veiled compared to what I'm used to, Hifiman Sundara, HE560, HE400i, but with just a little EQ like you suggested they sound really nice. A few guys over at ASR thought I should have went with the K371 but I already picked up the...

    Pads for V-Moda Crossfade M-80

Shipping delivery has been changed from May 3rd to June 1st. Hoping they arrive sooner, besides how can they be so precise with going through customs.

Anyone know what planar magnetic headphone below $250 has the most bass?

Are you saying the 5XX are dark sounding? Funny all the reviews I've read said they were heavy on the treble. You wouldn't say they're bass heavy would you?

Anyone know what planar magnetic headphone below $250 has the most bass?

I'm pretty convinced the HE4XX has the most bass from what I've been hearing and reading, and process of elimination. The 400 is hard to find and fragile, the 400i leans toward the bright side, sounds great for the price (I found one almost new for $90). 5XX = bright, HE400SE flatish with some...

Anyone know what planar magnetic headphone below $250 has the most bass?

Great thanks! When I decide to buy a set I just might try that. However, it's my sister who like the bass, I'm more into treble, but she may be looking for a second set by then if you know what I mean-:beyersmile:

    Pads for V-Moda Crossfade M-80

Dang nobody knows huh? I guess I'll cross my fingers and try the Bose pads... (I received the cans, yeah the pads are pretty much fubar).

    Pads for V-Moda Crossfade M-80

I don't have them yet, I found a set really cheap on eBay and thought what the hell, since I found the "over ear" set at a good price I'll give these a try too. I think the pins are broken on one of the ear pads so I'm trying to track some down. Yes the M-80's are "on ear."

Anyone know what planar magnetic headphone below $250 has the most bass?

Nice, thanks for the EQ curvy thingy!!. Oh yeah, I found an open box "never used" set for ninety bucks . Looks like you got some nice cans there as well. I'm really looking forward to how the V-Modas sound, Thanks!

Anyone know what planar magnetic headphone below $250 has the most bass?

Any idea what that mod entails? $$? I have heard of it and was going to try and look it up but got sidetracked. Heard good things about the T50RP.

    Pads for V-Moda Crossfade M-80

So I did a bit of searching and all I could find that were suggested would fit are the Bose OE2/OE2i. Any other places I can check? I only paid about $28 for the sardine cans so I really don't want to break the bank, I don't want a pair of stale mini doughnuts either..... Ideas? Thanks much!

Anyone know what planar magnetic headphone below $250 has the most bass?

Damn why didn't I think of that? Of course, V-Moda! Great looking cans in the picture there! Too bad she doesn't like white... So which one would you recommend between the Crossfade 1, 2 and M-100 as far as how they sound. I'm not looking for bluetooth, I know the M-100 fold very nicely...

Anyone know what planar magnetic headphone below $250 has the most bass?

I just wanted to introduce her to something with a wide soundstage and fast recovery and not drain the bank.

Anyone know what planar magnetic headphone below $250 has the most bass?

Thanks for the info and I'll look into those, funny I was under the impression the 5XX leaned toward the high side. Any thoughts on the Fostex T50RP MK III or the Shure SRH840?

Anyone know what planar magnetic headphone below $250 has the most bass?

Thanks I'm still thinking of those. I also heard someone talking about the Beyer DT770 and having a decent amount of bass and a wide soundstage, which is what I'm looking for. I know it's not a planar but if it sounds like one, not crazy about the attached cable though...

Anyone know what planar magnetic headphone below $250 has the most bass?

Yes I have thanks, I'm a little afraid they might be too heavy for her though. She's a bit of a small person so I thought maybe the M565C would suit her a little better, or the M570 if their bass is prominent enough. These Andover PM-50's are looking like a good deal for $199, hell I might...

Anyone know what planar magnetic headphone below $250 has the most bass?

Thanks very much everyone for their input it's much appreciated. I'm sorry I should have mentioned I was going to throw in a CEntrance Dacport Slim to drive the headphones. It's a small 450mW dac/amp that really packs a lot of punch for its size. In fact it powers my Sundaras and HE560 V2s...

Birthday gift for sister who prefers bass to treble, really seems to narrow it down with the planars... Thanks for your help :-)
