I dont like the blue at all. I first put the carbon pads from my replacement mobius on, but got curious and tried gel filled copper pads i had on my mobius. This is the sound I became accustomed to! If you have the gel filled give em a try!

I don’t get what you mean? If it’s connected with the usb dongle it is connected via the wireless.

i used it on my switch with a USB adapter and the ps5 dongle works.

It’s not happening in mine i’ve used them on PS4 wirelessly and xbox series X via Aux and the sound quality is what you’d expect from Audeze.

I second this, you might have side tone turned up too high and that’s what you’re hearing? When connected to Bluetooth or via the usb there is little to no noise with the mic off or with sideline turned down

All my audio is through my Khadas tone board and JDS Labs atom amp. its not the same but I’m sure my set up is pretty optimal.

I used them from like 2pm until 11pm via Bluetooth, and via aux to my Xbox controller and it didn’t give me the low battery warning . I fully charged it prior to using the first time.

Do you have an eq profile that makes the Penrose sound like the Mobius Default setting? I mean there’s a reason no one really changes to another eq!

I ordered the day that Audeze announced them on July 15th so maybe that’s why i got mine already. I can tell you they are definitely worth the wait!

The button that the mobius uses for 3D is the blue tooth button now. See the attached picture.

I know you asked Audeze but i can answer that. The audio processing is done on the Xbox or PS5. On the Xbox set it to Dolby Atmos or Dts Headphones X. If you didn’t buy those you can use the Windows Sonic. For the PS5 it uses the Tempest Audio engine so you would get the 3D audio from that.

Well when i pre ordered i had no intention on getting the series x. It’s all good, the analog connection isnt’ going to kill me and I from what i saw on soundcloud the mic will sound tons better.

Quick thoughts. They’re very similar to the Mobius just maybe a little tighter (my mobius are newish as i had my originals replaced due to waves head tracking not working). The iOS App doesn’t work with it yet guess an update is needed. It does not work on the xbox series x at all. I really hope...

They updated the Audeze HQ app adding support for the Penrose. Mine come in tomorrow instead of the expected Thursday. Hope everyone else gets theirs soon!

Audeze has had my money since July. They were expected months ago. I came here to let people know shipping has begun. I’m not worried about having to use other headphones in the meantime. You made that up as part of your strawman argument.

Well here in the US where the pandemic has hit hardest FedEx is delivering in 2 days. Audeze set the expectations, you can’t blame people for feeling how they feel. I mean you can blame them but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
