True, I had one set with imbalance. Thought it was the filters. And that’s how I ended up doing this comparison. After lots of testing and comparing, and even a hearing test. It was definitely in the iem itself which is now in for repairs at shure. I hope it will be replaced.

I agree with the memory foam. It simply sounds the best, no leakage, no loss of seal. If you roll them right so they don’t obstruct the nozzle you get the sound form the iem, and only that. It’s the lesser seal in silicon that causes the coloration some people prefer.

I use comply on everything. But after what you said I might give the yellows a try. Are they more trebly than the foams? The large shure foams are too large for me. Comply fits great, I use large on the left and medium on the right.

Screen is fine to me. Apple Music works really well. Everything works. I don’t get some of the complaints. Software is a little bit wonky. But I’m an apple guy. So everything non apple feels weird and backwards to me.

Qobuz works fine too, and has a lot of really high res music. 192/24
