Anni23 tour kit received from @wolfstar76 :metal: edit: Diva is included, duh. The Elysian tour kit. No DD in Diva so it only partially exists anyway.

Indeed. I love Turii Ti and RS8 combo so much 🥲 As a bass player whose soul has been physically and intimately attached to drum kits those Turii's do everything right and are par excellence for percussion. One of the reasons I exist in a pseudo end game state at all times. Acoustic drum kit...

    Proof of evolution—Darwin Filters V2 for HiBy RS6, RS8, RS2, FC6

Love your attention, time, and affability. Always professional. You go out of your way to help add a personal touch to the products and that resonates when we think about what brand we want to sink thousands into. I don't know who this personality is in this thread but this guy is acting like...

Cayin N8ii: The Incredible DAP with ROHM DAC and fully BAL Nutube

They are different beasts. Rs8 is more relaxed and has even more tweaking abilities. A more tame treble. N8ii has faster transient control like other chip based dacs but better realism with note decay than akm and ess (generally) I like rs8’s class a implementation better and use it more. But...

Awesome find, thanks. I agree, it's very special. You do need to swap out the included cable. Nice the author called the Martini cable pairing out specifically. I listen to mostly various rock/metal styles and modern indy electro with it. Glad there is a fan cult out there. They didn't make very...

Yes, from my perspective a great deal. Still one of my favorite sets ever. I'd pay well beyond list if I was forced to and frantically had to replace them. If you search my posts in the Softears and Cooler threads going back a few years I can't shut up about it. Mids are the star...

I hope you like it. It took an astonishing 275+ hrs to settle and smooth out highs and extend the bass. It's tight and blurry for quite a long time. I wanted to sell mine initially. Turii Ti + v2 Darwin Ultra filter / Class A is (chef's kiss)

    Qobuz Lossless Streaming Service Thread

You can use a 3rd party app like UAPP instead of the Qobuz app if you are using an Android device. Better sound, better operation. I never actually use the Qobuz app to stream.

Well, tbf that's a harsh representation of my impressions. I don't think I dismissed them as "complete garbage" 😂 I left much room for my personal taste and ear architecture. I liked them on some stuff but I didn't enjoy the tuning overall, and they are redundant and not as strong as Eden for...

The classic 50's and 60's definitely are cardas, and they are not even close to TOTL anymore. 1/4th the cost, lol. Can't speak to the others. The 50's and 60's have been torn down and cloned for years.

I mean, I've kept my N8ii due to specific synergies. Audio I don't want messed with by swapping to something else. Fourte Noir and OG Turii.

OMG, you have to try this. The sound stage just unfurled. Clothes removal sound enhancement ftw.

Absolutely! DD doesn't have to mean a bass emphasis. My favorite 3 single DD's don't have a sub bass emphasis and focus on the midrange for the same reason you mention. Too much bass emphasis obscures the tonality and it gets too muddy between the bass guitar and drum lower mid interplay. Sets...

Driver type doesn't really matter. I can reasonably assume most of these artists couldn't give a toss about driver configurations either. It's all about whether the tool works for them. Results are the only thing that matters. Maybe it seemed BA was the way because of the saturation of Jerry...

His definition of how albums are recorded is 100% correct. His statement is also. It needs to be reframed. It's fakery. You may like the fakery but it should be seen as a special effect CGI enhancement not a true to life leap forward in accurate reproduction. Live is much different than in...
