Like day and night. E3000 is warm and bassy while a4000 has a V shape - bright sound. A4000 has better separation, imaging, soundstage and has a more dynamic sound. Edit: I couldn't stand a4000 treble, it was very dynamic and sharp.- MundoHiFiOz

@iFi audio thanks! Yes, I know it's main purpose is to be a Bluetooth device but when used wired to a phone or PC it is as good as some of the best usb DAC/amps, that's why I would have liked MQA or DSD.- MundoHiFiOz

I like the ifi hip dac (warm sound and great output power), tempotec idsd plus (average output power and neutral sound) or Aune bu1 (warm and bassy sound)- MundoHiFiOz

Hi @Abir, if you want the best sound quality and better amplification I would recommend you to buy a DAC/amp. On the other hand, if you don't want to use your phone or pc buy a DAP.- MundoHiFiOz
