Campfire - Solaris
Thank you for your words. I mentioned that the 64 Audio Nio was more authoritative than the LE - which it certainly is (in m20 configuration) - it has more moving mass and enveloping notes compared to the Solaris LE. Quality is another attribute entirely and I would say that the Solaris LE has a...- Audiosolace

64 Audio Shootout - Nio. Trio. Fourte. Noir
I personally do not find it weird sounding. However weird is obviously a subjective term. Just from comparing against other IEMs the midrange of the Fourte sits further back from the overall mix. It has a touch hollowness compared to something like the Odins which are more mid forward and...- Audiosolace

64 Audio Shootout - Nio. Trio. Fourte. Noir
Good comparisons, the Tia Fourte is certainly a unique listen and is technically brilliant. Some may attribute the weirdness to the midrange which is more evident on A/B listening. Others like the Trio & U18 have more center staging and midrange intimacy. This is also true for the Odins...- Audiosolace

HIFIMAN TWS800
Our review of the HiFiMAN TWS800 It's nice to see TWS sound good with a musical, slightly lush sound signature. Yes, fit and ergonomics can be improved but it's a very good start from a high fidelity perspective.- Audiosolace

The Official 64 Audio Thread | apex & tia Technologies
Great points! Agreed that the Andro 2020 has better perceived detail retrieval as a result of the note resolution - it does also display an airiness that the Nio doesn't. I think regarding price and technical capability, there are quite a few exceptions to the rule even if there is a linear...- Audiosolace

The Official 64 Audio Thread | apex & tia Technologies
Valid points but I do not believe price plays a factor when talking about technicalities. The Campfire Audio Ara ($1299) has better detailing and a more precise sound than the more expensive Nio. However, certainly preferences come into play here which is why tonality and technicality should be...- Audiosolace

The Official 64 Audio Thread | apex & tia Technologies
Nice post - yes I agree that the KSE1200 and Fourte do have some form of weaknesses (The KSE1200 for its arguably lack of coloration/emotive tone and the Fourte for the slightly incoherent upper midrange). The 64 Audio U18t - I can not think of any glaring weaknesses. However, the Tia Fourte...- Audiosolace

Hifiman HE1000 Planar Dynamic Headphone
Agreed The HiFiMAN HEKV1 is the warmest with the softer impact, the HiFiMAN HEKV2 has the largest soundstage and a generally more neutral-bright presentation The HiFiMAN HEKSe mirrors the HiFiMAN Susvara with more precise staging, more saturated dynamics and better top-to-bottom detailing and...- Audiosolace
