SHURE CUTS THE CORD: RMCE-TW1 / TW2 - THE TRUE WIRELESS THREAD
Yea that's my point, two different devices with different features, and I'm watching to stay updated about the TW1. At least I'm hoping to get some button configuration stuff. I need pause and activate environment mode in one function. Takes me far to long if some one asks me a question on the...- murgh

Can we split TW2 discussions from this? I like this thread be to informed about TW1s new stuff, and so far there was no firmware update for them with new features.- murgh

So Android got a software update today, "hardware EQ" and "customizable buttons", lets see if this is also for the TW1.- murgh

Any special upgrade offers? But then the IP rating it useless for me because the SE 846 don't magically get one. :)- murgh

From what I can find they have the option to work with a cable too, so I guess that's when APTX HD becomes available.- murgh

Interesting, wonder what their trick is. Maybe they both have to connect to the phone directly and the phones syncs them as 2 independent speakers, or there is a new chipset that is capable of doing this now.- murgh

APTX HD is not possible to sync wirelessly between two separated earpieces, we need a new chipset for that or even a different protocol.- murgh

Well it got more controls on the earpiece, but does it have the "audio pass through" mode? I find that really useful for short talks with strangers. Also no info on BT protocols used, that's probably a bad thing.- murgh

Seems those earpieces are not very good when phoning in windy conditions, I had to disconnect them and use the phone itself to be understood. Not the main purpose I bought them for, still disappointing and cumbersome if you have to take a call in these conditions.- murgh

SHURE CUTS THE CORD: RMCE-TW1 / TW2 - THE TRUE WIRELESS THREAD
The main earpiece died from low battery yesterday, started with 25% after 10min it turned off, but well it was the first charge, it might still have to learn its capacity. To bad only the right one works as a receiver, I often use only one for listening to podcasts. Also nice, the charger just...- murgh

They are supposed to support HD. But wow FiiO is bringing their own MMCX wireless adapter? Maybe even faster than Shure. But nothing about HD on the FiiO info though. But they are waterproof, but doesn't help me if my SE846 aren't. :D Edit: I checked, the FiiO is already available, I could go...- murgh

I was expecting it to be re-released under the same name. But then they might want to distance them self from a failed product, but calling it TW2 while not having anything new than the previous versions doesn't seem smart either. I hope we'll know soon.- murgh

Well I already got a FiiO BTR3, also with volume control, so I would really just get rid of that bulky long cable and replace it with a shorter one. Guess its not worth it.- murgh
