    Sennheiser x Massdrop HD6XX Review / Preview - Head-Fi TV

After montsh using the HD 650 I have to say that i think they are the best headphones ever, nothing to say, I felt in love with them in every sense, i love electronic music and the bass for an open can is tight and strong and amazing. The details in the mid range and de highs that aren't harsh...

    Sennheiser HD650 & Massdrop HD6XX Impressions Thread

I'm still very happy with this headphones, they are perfect for listining to music casualy, I try to use them for DJ MIXING but they only lack in that aspect cause of the need of mid bass hump for beatmatching, but i don't buy them for that. More than 200 hours of listening and love them (L)

    Sennheiser HD650 & Massdrop HD6XX Impressions Thread

I can definitly tell that the burn in process in this headphones is not the brain. When i bought them I EQ over 1k by -1 or -2 db to please my taste. Now i have fully removed the eq and it sound perfect for me. It's imposible to think that the brain can make such a difference. In other hand, if...

    Sennheiser HD650 & Massdrop HD6XX Impressions Thread

It's incredible de burn in effect in the HD 650. I'm in 50/60 hours and it's always going better. Bass response, recces in the treble area (in the good way) and soundstage are the more noticiable effects.

    Sennheiser HD650 & Massdrop HD6XX Impressions Thread

This is my end game headphone. Love everything about it for listening in my house and work. The bass is getting ticker with use. I'm at 30/40 hours... break in was always noticable for me with sennheisers cans. Electornic music make a dreamland landscape in your head in this headphones, so much...

    Sennheiser HD650 & Massdrop HD6XX Impressions Thread

I'm really shocked by the sound quality of the HD 650. I got a reactie tinnitus with other headphones and with this I feel that i can listen for hours without much disconfort an some strange effect that cause me other headphones than is like a "pressure" in the ears. The difference with closed...

    Sennheiser HD650 & Massdrop HD6XX Impressions Thread

I think is a miss conception were they call that the sound have more "detail", but it's simply sharp and piercing. I found that de HD 650 have the right amount of treble, but i'm a bit purist and prefer even a little less treble in the 4k to 7k region. I'm a "believer" of break in, almost...

The Hardest hitting Headphones are.. ( "The EXTREME BASS Club")

I bought the HD 650 from sennheiser and I have to admit that the bass is really present for an open back headphone. Also they anwser very well to eq, with a boost in all the bass region only 2db the bass hits hard and you can also enjoy the rest of the spectrum with big clarity. My two cents.

Well, I finally bought the HD 650 after month reading things about them. Loving them so far, obviusly they are breaking in but I got impressed by the sound. Does anybody nows if the Sennheiser HD 650 have a good punching bass. It's the most bass heavy from sennheiser 600 line, but i'm afraid that anyway is not hard enought. I'm looking foward to try them

Great note, i have now my XL pads but i don't wan't to break the headphones, tried to remove the stock pads but they are hard to remove, i think maybe they are stuck. The youtube videos removing the pads don't give me any trust, the crack sound on the videos keep me back of doing that jajaja

The cfw2 can be wired too, but i skip buying those cause the opinions of a lack of bass against the m100. I have test b2b the pioneer hdj x10 with the m100 with techno heavy bass track and powered by a ddj1000 of pioneer, is notorius the difference of bass in the m100, way punchier. The x10 have...

How strong do you feel the bass in the crossfade 2? I research a lot and in this forum they eveybody was saying that the bass in the m100 is much better than the CFW2, even there was a lot of complain about that.

I try them in all positions, i don't hear any rumble in the bass with the HD 25, they have a good mid bass, tho, I understand that with that mid bass hump it's a cool tool for mixing cause you can beatmatch with that frequency (also have almost no decay on that freq), but for me the sound is not...

I think that also depends on the music you hear, I was looking foward to buy the Senn's HD 650, but I almost listen every day to electronic music (progressive house), if the headphones cannot reproduce the sub bass or make it reccesed there is a lot missing in the playback that spoils the...

I'm in the same direction, i bought the HD 280 pro from sennheiser cause of the "flat" response. They were the most boring headphones i ever listen. Then i bought the HD 25 from sennheiser and they have an absolut lack of sub bass, sharp treble... harsh treble and foward mids... also too boring...

Well, finally i got my V-MODA M-100. It’s all true the reference of the users about the bass. I can hear a extreme sub bass, the pads for me are confortable but I have small ears. I found the treble a bit foward, I prefer a more reccesed treble because I hate ear fatigue, but anyway it’s not...

V moda crosfader m 100 is discontinuated, will be de codex 2 in wired mode the most similar in sound signature?? I wan't a heavy bass headphone because treble and mid give me a lot of ear fatigue, if treble are mids are recessed is something good for my listening, ja.

I'm a bass lover because I'm DJ of progressive house music, bass is everything in this music. I bought the sennheiser HD 280. Literally no bass. The Sennheiser HD 25 also were a big deception for me. No sub bass at all. Finally I bought the HDJ X10 from Pioneer, again I fail... they have good...

It's really frustraiting that all the reviews of the Vmoda m100, m100 master and wireless 2 CODEX are so differente between each other. I'm a bass head and I don't want to buy de Wireless if is real that the bass is lower than the m100, but then some reviews say it's better, others say that is...
