The Tri i3 scales surprisingly well. I run them sometimes in the RNHP and the soundstage and imaging improve notably. Also the mids sound fuller imo

Make sure to get a good sealing. H40 shouldn't sound metallic.

White/green. You can use those until you can get something else...

Greens are the less bad Imo. I would recommend any stock tips though.

A good thing about the H40 is that the stem is long enought to allow shallow or deep insertion depending on you ear shape.

To me, the best tips for the H40 are the Spiral Dot. Wide bore and comfortable. Azla sedna earfit short are a close second.

It seems that ML are 13.3mm and the L are 14mm iirc.

I checked with 4 mmcx cables. It is definitely the mmcx socket. Also when I first got the H40 had a similar problem, after taking it in on and off a few times it seemed to mostly go away. Definitely they have some serious QC problem seeing as many of us have had this.

I have the same problem with my D10. Right mmcx connector works intermittently if I move. I contacted them and they told me to send back the earpieces to Hong Kong!. I don't know what I will do as shipping might be quite expensive and I don't think I should pay for it. But I won't be buying...

I use mine to power my DT1990 while gaming on my Xbox and works more than fine, high gain 1 o'clock..

I don't own the Orb but I do own H40 and Tri i3 and the vocals on the latter are very good.

Oh10 is V shaped and has less soundstage, punchy and fun. Isn H40 has more soundstage and is smoother, ideal for longer sessions. I got both, they're quite different.

Mine doesn't have that problem.

I own both i3 and H40, the H40 are even more relaxed than the i3, less fatiguing for long listening periods. Also own the Ikko OH10, this are more energetic, as you said, but V shaped. IMO the OH10 are a good complement to the i3 and H40.

Honestly. I can't hear a difference with cables...

I've got two, they're ok but they tangle very easy. Tripowin is 8 core and a bit more rigid.

I got both, the Tri i3 are in another category above. Don't get the Urbanfun, imo you'll be disappointed. I did.
