z1r is the most beautiful sounding IEM ever to me, but cannot stand being bombarded by the bass for hours, hehe

I've said this before. M7 is also one IEM you can crank up and not get dizzy.

M9 really boring for pop/rock. But heavenly for classical, especially opera. I listen to a lot of classical, so overall it's not boring for me, while other IEMs are crap for this genre.

Solaris mid looks bigger, but it looks like a ghost.

Tried it on EX1000 also, worked well also. It's now my 2nd best for this IEM. The ML-size Sony hybrid still sound best, but take effort to push far in.

Thought of replacing M9 with VX for my daily listening... but, now listening to my speaker setup, M9 is the one closest to the sound, not even Z1R.. also remember the sound of orchestra in a studio-like venue (smallish, damped), and sound of M9 is closest.. but not really close also, just the...

They also scale well with better electronics, in contrast to andro and even z1r.

For M9, now using cheapo large tip with medium bore, thick hard stem, I cut 2mm from the stem.. feels and prolly sound like custom IEM, wide contact area & shallow insert but tip is very near the canal. Better details, less mid bass. It's rivalling my VX now, but maybe cuz i haven't optimize...

Cut out the DAC, make it simpler, smaller & cheaper. Don't include 2.5mm.

Slight recessed, recessed, behind... i don't mind, because the mids have body, not hollow, not peaky, it's.. yummy

I saw crin's measurements, still got 4K suckout. I listen a lot chamber music with violins and violin concerto, so it's still crap for me.

Nah, Symbio never worked for my ears... told already several times 'my ears', so agree to disagree.

After I had that many eartips, I don't take subjective impressions that serious anymore, especially quick/short impressions and when the iem got very good technicalities like Sony M7, duh, even some crinacle impressions.

LOL, that's response to your reply that tips from MH755 increase bass, decrease mids... reverse is true for my experience.

Not true in my case. Both mids and treble elevated, bass tighter. M7 and M9 sound more dynamic, for my ears.

Tips from MH750/5 still the bestest for me.
