Astell&Kern has had me send the unit back to Korea again. According to FedEx tracking t was delivered there last week, but now I can't get A&K to respond to e-mails.

I am not pleased to report that the rear panel of my SR35 is starting to detach again. I do not notice any battery swelling, this time.

SanDisk 1TB Ultra microSDXC UHS-I. The SR35's UI itself is fine-ish, but mounting the sdcard after boot, and sometimes moving between folders on the sdcard, can lag considerably. I also dislike the SR35's case. The side buttons on the SR15 case were easy to operate by feel alone. I can't feel the side buttons through the case on the SR35 at all.

I am pleased to report my SR35 was repaired and returned to me inside of a week.

Astell & Kern sent me a FedEx label and I have shipped my SR35 to Korea to be repaired.

My dealer initially told me to RMA the unit back to them (after five months??), but now they've told me to standby and Astell & Kern will contact me directly about getting it repaired. Good thing I didn't already send it back to the dealer, I guess. But I still haven't heard from Astell & Kern.

sr15 supports aptx hd, which apple products, and most stand alone players, do not.

Bluetooth. These support aptX HD. My headphone use is 100% while standing, walking, and working.

Yes, any sdcard is going to have problems with multiple operations occurring at once. Mine is a Samsung Evo+ 256GB.

One tip I have discovered to avoid skipping problems when playing from sdcard: Upon booting, wait for all activity to stop in the Android status bar at the top of the screen. You will see “Scanning media...” and then the sdcard icon will appear, and then “Scanning media...” again briefly, and...

I don’t mean using apps to communicate with the device. I mean mounting the internal storage or sdcard just as you would any USB stick or USB drive. My OpenBSD laptop can see the device when I plug it in, but the device does not present its internal storage or its sdcard as a mountable volume...

Is there any way the SR15 can be put into disk mode so a computer OS can mount its storage (internal or sdcard) directly over USB?

For reference, I was able to find out that the Fiio X1 2nd Gen I used with good results with the same HU has a line out voltage 1.7 Vrms (10 KΩ/1 kHz). I’ll try that first.

The head unit in my car is an Alpine UTE-62BT. I want to connect my SR15 to its AUX port but I cannot find any documentation about the required voltage. Since the SR15’s line out has configurable voltage, I’m wondering what the standard voltage is for car audio AUX inputs. Does anyone know?
