Of course it's about the app not working, I've reverted back to an older version that works that's all. Tidal's latest apps don't play MAX titles on my player, so it's a problem with the app..

I've done the same and reverted back to 2.86 and all seems OK.. Hope Hiby or Tidal can come up with a fix in the near future.

Just checked, reinstalled my Hiby R6 Pro running andriod 8.1 with the latest Tidal version and it still does not play Max albums, just downloaded Nora Jones come away with me and it refuses to play. I'm assuming your R5 is running a later andriod version.

Yes... But its about Tidal not working on some earluer versions of andriod since the move away from MQA to the MAX settings.

Maybe you should read back to Joe Bloggs account of the issues regarding Hiby Daps and earlier andriod versions...

You'll get stung for import charges, it will probably not be as much as buying from Amazon but you get it quicker and have the back-up that its bought from Amazon.

For £199 I think the M3s is amazing, but to part with double that for what may just be a touch screen and minimal SQ upgrade without a listen would be hard to justify. I'm hoping for a Amazon UK Black Friday deal and sell my M3s as 8m sure the sound quality will improve on it. My M0 is a keeper...

Definitely better, I'm not sure what else you could wish for in a small DAP that won't be implemented with further firmware updates and the phone app when available, I truly believe this is a gem that not many people even know exist.
