I like the er6is for the price.

cx300s couldn't even hold the er6i's jock strap.

As far as sound quality goes, th eri6 are in another league(IMO) than the vibes. The vibes sounds too synthetic too me.

I agree. The 280s are great for isolation, but the sound quality is decent at best.

Like everyone said, you really can't go wrong with the er4p. They are a great iem.

I just built a new htpc with an asus p5k premium motherboard. I've been using the zhaolu with my existing audio system. Should I keep my zhaolu and connect to the optical output or ditch the zhaolu and purchase the prelude and connect it to my receiver using the analog outs.

Ultimate Ears Super.fi 5 EB is also a good choice if you're really a basshead, but I prefer the pros.

I would go with the pros.

They might not be horrible, but everything in that price range is going to be better. IMO a lot of cans at half the price will be better.

Out of those three I would pick the 280s, but you can do a lot better for the price.

IMO the hd580s have a better midrange than the 650s, but over all I like the 650s better.

There are a lot of negative things said about the 515s. They don't sound horible, they just are not worth the price. I got some for my wife several months ago for 30.00. For that price I think they were barely worth it.
