Just got my SP3000 and noticed that the date and time does not auto update. Furthermore, when trying to set manually, the year cannot be adjusted beyond 2023. Any ideas..? Thanks.

Bloody hell mate, I'd take a few deep breaths or you'll do yourself an injury. It is a bit annoying but even with my OCD it just takes a bit of time to go through the library to delete any duplicates. First world problems and all that.

I am an eternal optimist however please spare a thought for those that have paid up front and still waiting for their orders to be sent through.

I, like yourself have not heard anything from toxic and/ or the gentleman going by the name of Max in spite of his earlier messages on various platforms that orders will be fulfilled. Anyone else out there with more positive news to report?

It would be interesting to get an idea of how many people out there have paid but have not had their orders fulfilled. I also paid Max direct but got messages from Frank via Toxic's email that all was in hand; that was in January 2018 - long time ago now.

Has anyone out there heard anything from Max or anyone else regarding restarting Toxic and in particular fulfilling pending orders that were previously paid for? I understand that they where looking to get back up and running about now.

Hello, Does your player connect to your computer ok via USB? My SP1000m g can be frustratingly temperamental when trying to connect via USB 3.0. My other laptop that is USB 2.0 has no such issues. Strangely, my old ak70mki connects fine via USB 2.0 and 3.0.

Hello, It was my intention to run my SP1000m gold via usb to my Sony tazh 1es desktop DAC/headphone amp however the DAP is better than expected through my Sony Z1R's that I don't bother. I do run an output from the 3.5mm to my icon audio HP8 mkii valve amp with NOS valves and it sounds superb.

Sound quality and chatacteristics lean more towards SP1000cu in my opinion. Not allot in it to my ears.

I wonder if Astell & Kern could comment on the USB compatibility issues highlighted in the last 3 posts? I would be also be obliged if A&K could clarify if SP1000 and SP1000m variants are compatible with USB 3.0 as manual on SP1000m indicates 2.0 only whereas website indicates 3.0 also.

Good morning, I also experience compatibility issues with my SP1000m G when connecting to my laptop (USB 3.0) with the supplied cable and my desktop headphone amp (Sony TAZH-1ES) via USB c - micro cable to walkman input. Works fine with USB 2.0 though. Not sure if my issue is related to yours.
