Maybe I should consider the Quintet if it makes people fall asleep. That is what I mostly use my iems for, to fall asleep. But I promised myself that I would first enjoy the Quartet and especially the Aful P8 for a while.

6.2 grams per ear piece, doesn't feel heavy to me. (this is about Fiio FW3.) Edit: I have been using them for 4 hours now, connected to my Windows PC (I don't use them for phone calls or other stuff) and they are at 58 and 56 percent battery capacity left.

So where did the majority that doesn't like Quartet come from all of a sudden? I never liked majorities anyway ever since they were called silent, so maybe it's a good thing I like Quartet. Also with H570, btw. Currently it's my backup to when I have listened to P8 for too long.

About the tiny planar driver in the upcoming Quintet, isn't the size of a planar only important if it's the only or main driver, because in that case it has to be a certain size to produce the lower frequencies? By the way, I'm good for now with the Aful P8. Rediscovering many familiar songs...

I saw a NiceHCK purplese cable offer for €11 and when it came to paying, they charged €8.42. It's my third one and the cheapest.

I still enjoy the Quartet every day. My main problem is that the nozzles are not great for holding on to tips. This morning I had to use tweezers to remove a HS18 tip from one ear and I had already used the narrowest variant of that set. Other tips have also come off.

The only iem I ever had a problem with was a Fiio with a mmcx connector that became loose over time, and I never even bothered with warranty, so I don't take that into account.

While I was trying to order the P8 in Germany, the item sold out there. Turns out ordering from Hifigo was cheaper.

I think that is unplugged or acoustic. Concerts are often amplified and most recordings are also. To be as close as possible to the original recording or concert is full fidelity. If that means amplified, so be it.
