Just wanted to let folks know, it's all good now. Came back fixed with new board inside it. Thanks for all the pointers.

Turns out some liquid got through the cover probably from a spill and rusted out some of the contacts. The board needs to be replaced. Should have kept it on a shelf or something instead of the desk. oh well.

Downgrading the firmware did not help. I got the RMA ticket today. It's going back.

i opened a ticket got an initial response that i will given a RMA for them to look at it. it has been a week since then. i followed up again last night. will see.

The firmware actually did not need the update. It was on latest when i saw this problem. I updated it to the same version anyway to see anything would change. NA Blur, what's the display off command ?

No. they just offered me to return the item. It is a previously used item. I am guessing the seller (one of those used item selling companies) did not bother powering it up. I happened to find a fuse around house that works. But I am going to go out and get a 2a fuse to be sure. The item looks...
