Earbuds Round-Up
Do any of you know what tips these are? They came with a set of Fir Audio RN6 demos. I like them on the Monarch MKIII IEMs. I reached out to Fir and haven't received response, yet.- ryaneagon

Thieaudio Monarch MKIII impressions, reviews, and pictures thread
I ended up ordering the Monarch MKIII over the Hype 10. I haven't heard either. I should have them by the end of the week. I'll share my impressions and compare them with my other earphones. Cheers!- ryaneagon

ThieAudio Signature Series Tribrid IEMs
I ordered the Hype 10 over the Monarch MK3. It was a tough decision, especially not being able to use my ears to compare, It made my decision extra tough being the Hype 10 has only a couple of written reviews and YouTube reviews, and a couple of YouTube sound demos. (taken with a grain of salt)...- ryaneagon

Precog's IEM Reviews & Impressions
Honestly, if you want a CIEM and only using it for music listening and want lots of bass but a better musical experience I would bypass 64 Audio altogether and look at FATfreq https://fatfreq.com/collections/maestro-series Tuning, Timber, and soundstage, are all better than 64 audio, in my...- ryaneagon

I'm also looking at going with the A12T. How do you like them? How would you compare both?- ryaneagon

Exceptional in Every Detail: Say Hello to the IE 600
Hi All. I'm interested in the IE600. I was hoping to get some insight on tuning compared to the UM Mest MKII and 64 audio U12t, 2 IEMs that I own. Precog rates the 600 1 step below the MEST, I'm just curious if anyone else has done a direct comparison. I know it's unfair to compare based on...- ryaneagon

I completely agree with this. A spot-on comparison of the u12t and MEST MKII.- ryaneagon

Rank the IEM's you've heard
Great List! I'm curious. Were you able to listen to the UM Mest MKII? I'm asking because I have a set of MKII customs and 64 Audio u12t that tend to be my go to for listening, they're also the most expensive IEMs I own. I thought about demoing the UM Indigo and possibly purchasing them. I wanted...- ryaneagon

Exceptional in Every Detail: Say Hello to the IE 600
For mobile use, I have a DragonFly Red, Ear Studio ES100, and a BTR5. The Dragonfly works well with most of my IEMs and headphones, I use it around the house with a phone or Mac. On the go, I prefer the sound of the ES100. To my ears, it seems more natural, maybe warmer? than the BTR5. I also...- ryaneagon

Are you looking for customs or universal fit? The Trio will give you more bass slam and sub-frequency because of its dynamic driver and tuning. The U12t is no slouch in this area, though, just not as in your face as the Trio, but the U12t is just better bass, and as Damz87 says, It's not...- ryaneagon

Gald you are satisfied with your A12t's. They really are great headphones, for stage and music listening. My take on DAC/Dongles. I personally feel you don't need to spend much money. Especially if you have a really good headphone / IEM. I use a EarStudio ES100 for on the go most of the time. At...- ryaneagon

Another thing to consider is size. Shure designed their IEM to be a true IN-EAR Monitor. The 535 with all its weak technical ability is one of the most comfortable IEMs, ever. The entire shell fits inside the concha (for most) this not only makes it comfortable but also gives a great seal. They...- ryaneagon

I feel the same in some aspects. I do feel it's a good starting point. My top 10 -while it has most of the models listed, I have them in a different order. For me the biggest advantage is just the list alone, there are lots on here to research. I also find his comments, tech grade, and set up to...- ryaneagon

May I also suggest this website? If you are not familiar with Crinacle, Look him up. I personally like his take on his reviews. I also have similar taste in his audio preferences and sound. Your mileage may vary, of course. https://crinacle.com/rankings/iems/- ryaneagon

Yes. (drummer) I started off with the 535's. Used them for over 5 years before switching to the 846's, and used them for a couple of years before finally making the leap into custom IEM's. Both served me well. Yes, I use the a12t's. (custom) Yes. Without a doubt, the u12t's are better in every...- ryaneagon

As a previous Shure SE535 and SE846 All I can say is the U12t or U18t are in another league, I mean...Not even close! Shure made designed the 535's for a true on-stage IEM, directly aimed at vocalists, they are tuned really flat from 20hz to 2K. Personally, If you have only experienced the 535's...- ryaneagon

CIEM Options
I didn't demo the U6T this go around, only the U12, A4, and Trio. I remember it being light on bass, is all. It must not have made an impression though as I didn't want to compare it this time with the MEST. I wanted to try the A4 because of its dynamic driver being used for the bass. Again, I...- ryaneagon

CIEM Options
I'm in the process of demoing a set of 64 Audio a4's. I'm actually really surprised how good they sound side by side with the u12t's and MEST MKII. If you were wanting to spend less. ($1800 for MEST $1099 for a4's) I think you'd be pretty happy.- ryaneagon

let's talk custom iems in 2021.
The U12t slightly warmer and neutral IEM; I don't disagree with you. He's "Not interested in universals." Also, the custom MKII has added warmth over the universal; I've demoed the non CIEM before purchasing the customs. Do you have a set of MKII customs? ...I won't be the first to say that the...- ryaneagon
