I bought a Geek Wold GK10 from Penon and it was faulty. I had to destroy it and take photos before theÿ replaced it. The replacement was perfect.

Just tried the Symphony with NiceHCK Black Cat and Spiral Dots. Bass is tighter and the overall balance is very good. The Symphony is both tip- and cable-sensitive. Worth some rolling to get the most out of it.

No, sorry, I have not heard the Rhapsody. My recent KZs are Krila, Castor (Harman), Trio, PR3 and Symphony.

There's a new AS16 Pro X with a different driver configuration, still 8BA per side but not available from official KZ site yet. @PhonoPhi has it, there is a recent post. I have AS16 Pro, I find it benefits from an impedance adaptor (30 Ohm) so that may be a consideration.

Many of the earlier KZ models suffered from this to an extent but their tuning has improved recently. I do prefer a mild pinna gain but not too elevated.

The upper mids and lower treble are very well behaved on the Trio (with switches 1010). I hear no harshness at all, the region is elevated but is clear and smooth. There is always the option to use other switch settings and of course sources vary.

1010 is my setting too.

May I respectfully recommend the CCA Trio? It has a well balanced sound with excellent technicalities and good treble extension and a very wide soundstage.

The MT300 is a favourite of mine. Treble extension is fantastic as you say and nice solid bass.

AP80 Pro X and ZS7. Nice! I have this combination and it's great.

The Symphony sounds great with the Xduoo X20, just make sure you give it a long burn in, it really makes a difference. Also try it with a balanced cable which gives a bit more power.
